Embark On An Incredible Journey With Sunrays Holiday`Senior Citizens Special Group Tour
Kashmir is often called “Paradise on Earth” due to its breathtaking pristine. The region is blessed with lush green valleys, snow-capped mountains, beautiful lakes, & picturesque landscapes that evoke a sense of paradise, making it a popular epithet for Kashmir.
Tour Highlights:
Arrive at designated reporting place report to vehicle and proceed to House boat, a unique staying option situated around beautiful Dal and Nagin lakes.
Meals : Dinner
Enjoy Dal Lake Shikara ride and visit island of Char Chinar and photograph yourself in Kashmiri outfits at your own cost. Also visit Shankaracharya hill and the holy temple. Later proceed to Pahalgam – A tourist destination situated on Lidder River famous for its lush green meadows and prestine waters. Enroute visit Avantipoora ruins – A temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu were build by King Avantiraman in 9th century. Pass by the Pampore Saffron fields. Then we take a photo stop at Apple and Walnut Plantations.

Morning explore nearby region of Pahalgam like Chandanwari to witness the magnificent views of Lidder valley. Enjoy photography and Lidder riverside trek. Later we visit Betaab Valley. This valley attributes its name to the hit Bollywood movie Betaab, which was shot in its picturesque surroundings.

Today proceed to Srinagar, en-route visit cricket bat factory. On arrival visit Nishat Bagh -‘The garden of pleasure’ and Shalimar Bagh-‘Abode of Love’, Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Today we enjoy an excursion to Gulmarg – ‘Meadow of Flowers’. We enjoy the famous Gondola ride (one of the highest in the world) to the second phase Apharwat point. We later enjoy, play and have fun time in Snow, also one can take up skiing and snowboarding activities (at own cost). After coming back to Srinagar, we have free time for Shopping. In the evening we enjoy a get together with our travel companions.

Gulmarg Gondola Ride tickets are booked online for each individual guest with their name as per Aadhaar. Opening of these online ticket reservation system slots depends on the Jammu & Kashmir Cable Car Corporation’s schedule. The booking of these tickets is done only after the Guest’s booking and is possible only if the slots are open and if the tickets are available. As the seats are limited for each date and bookings for these are done from all over India once the slots open, these ticket bookings are subject to availability.

The penultimate day of the trip includes a drive to and back from the town of Sonamarg. Sonamarg is a small-town, 70 km away from the city of Srinagar, situated at a height of 2730 meters above the sea level. The town of Sonamarg is a perfect recipe for a quaint day in the lap of sun-kissed mountains, waterfalls, and soaring glaciers. Enjoy the horse ride to Thajawas glacier and witness the magnificent beauty of Pir Panjals. Later return back to Srinagar and relax.
